HeyDidYaKnow XXX Files and Californiacation star David “I beat it around the bush” Duchovney has just been released from Sex Rehab where he was undergoing his addiction to Internet porn.  Doctors claimed he has kicked his addiction… leaving most of us here at Hey Did Ya Know asking, “why the hell would he want to?”   And in news across the world, a deadly quake in the small country of Kyrgyzstan, a small country north of Afghanistan, killed at least 72.  This quake, with a magnitude of 6.6 on the Richter scale, apparently wiped out entire villages and towns.

HeyDIdYaKnow every dirty old man’s pop-tart of the week inched a little further towards legality by holding her 16th birthday party this weekend at Disney World this weekend.  A creature of understatement and restraint, Miley Cyrus and her increasingly creepy father, Billy Ray Cyrus, shut down Disney World so she and her 5,000 closest friends could party the night away… at least until her curfew.   And in even more financially objectionable news, as this is being written, before 10:30 AM Monday October 6th, the Dow has already dropped over 300 points.  Sure, not the largest percentage or numerical drop in history, but it is the first time that the Dow has dropped below 10,000 points for the first time in more than four years.  I am sure glad to know, though, that the Cyrus family is doing alright through all this.

HeyDidYaKnow that world’s most attractive couple under 35, Scarlett Johansen and Ryan Reynolds, have reportedly gotten hitched.  In a small ceremony this past weekend in a resort just outside of Vancouver, Canada, the ceremony was witnessed by a small group of family.  Sources say, they are already expecting their first Pizza Place.  In news of a more unique and volatile union, with the shifting of the Jewish and Muslim Calendar, we are now in the time of the year where the Muslims holy Ramadan and the Jewish Holy Month of Elul intersect.  What makes this aligning of the holy holidays more interesting is how extensively both are celebrated within the Holy City of Jerusalem.  Thousands of followers of both religions have flooded into the city to celebrate the holiday.  And although within the walls of the city there has been no violence, the tension is palpable.
